Printing
Giclee printing:
The term "giclee print" (zhee-klay) connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
Prints on paper:
All my prints are printed on heavyweight paper with a high quality printer and are signed. The 8x8 and 8x10 are printed on a 11x14
sheet of paper and are signed. The 12x12 and 11x14 prints are printed
on a 13x19 sheet of paper and are signed as well. All sizes I offer will fit in standard frames. Some sizes are also available with matting. (example below) Also, I personally sign ever one.
Prints on canvas:
All my artwork is available on canvas. The quality is so high that it is hard to tell the original from a reproduction.
All canvas prints have a gallery wrap and are on 1 inch stretcher bars. Gallery wrap means there is a continues image all around the sides of the stretcher bars.
This means it is ready to hang on a wall without a frame if you so choose.
This picture shows the gallery wrap and the wire hanger on the back of the giclee.
