ORIGINAL PAINTINGS are mostly done on canvas in oil or acrylic. This is usually done in a studio from sketches or photographs. Pastels on paper are used when I am on-site and I need to save the fast moving light. This also helps capture the feel of the subject and its surroundings. Rain, sun, cold or heat translates into color. GICLEE PRINTS are computer digital images of the original, printed on canvas and stretched on wood stretcher bars. I inspect the final product and add a signature. I final clear coat is added for protection. PRINTS giclee printed on archival paper. Mounted in on a matte and protected with a clear plastic bag.
